In 2006 we became the first swimming club based in North Tyneside to achieve Swim 21 (now SwimMark) accreditation, and we work each year to retain this recognition. SwimMark Accreditation is a 'Quality mark'. It recognises nationally and regionally the clubs that are committed to providing safe, effective and quality services for the benefit of its swimmers.

We are a competitive swimming club and our swimming members represent the club in a variety of competitions throughout the North East and England. We have a proven pathway of development from developing novice swimmers just starting out on the competitive trail through to success at National level.

The momentum of results has been building steadily over recent years. The club has had a resounding last couple of years in terms of performance at the Northumberland and Durham County Championships, producing a double county champion, the North Eastern Regional Championships producing numerous finalists and we have made appearances at both Scottish and English National level, again producing finalists in both individual and team representation.

On the non-sporting side, we rely on our parental support structure and the support network that has evolved across the years is incredible. It was envisioned a number of years ago that if anything, like a club, is going to be a success then the essential support structure has to be created in-house and that has become almost self-perpetuating. From gala arrangement, gala support personnel, social functions through to charitable ventures all the expertise required is already in-house, created here. We are a very fortunate club having such supportive parents with great skill sets.
